Chermac Energy

Energy for Today, and Tomorrow.

About

PowerChermac Energy Corporation was incorporated under the laws of the State of Oklahoma in 1982 to provide services in petroleum engineering and oil & gas lease property operations. Chermac Energy Corporation became a Registered Petroleum Engineering firm in the State of Oklahoma in 1996. Due to the volatility of oil & gas prices, Chermac Energy Corporation continued to diversify its holdings.  In 1987, Chermac Services Corporation was opened as a precision measurement calibration laboratory. In 1999, Chermac Energy Corporation started development of renewable energy wind projects in Oklahoma.  Today, Chermac Energy Corporation continues to adapt to the ever changing needs of the wind and oil & gas industries.

Wind

Wind2In 1999, Chermac Energy Corporation began work on alternative energy wind development in the State of Oklahoma. Chermac Energy Corp. has acquired over 60,000 acres of wind lease and easement rights in Harper, Dewey and Texas counties. In Texas, Chermac Energy Corp. has acquired over 50,000 acres of wind lease and easement rights in the panhandle. In 2007, Chermac Energy Corp. completed development of the Oklahoma Gas and Electric 120 MW Centennial Wind Farm and the 94.5 MW Sleeping Bear Wind Farm in Harper County, Oklahoma. Other planned projects for 2008-2010 include a total of 909 MW projects in Oklahoma and Texas. In addition, Chermac Energy Corp. is currently researching and developing an additional 3,500 MW of projects in the Oklahoma, Texas, Western and Eastern United States.

Chermac Energy Corp. applied the same principles for wind energy that were applied for oil & gas exploration: a commercially productive location, interconnection and transmission availability, surface owner acceptance of energy production from their property, and cost effective project  management. Chermac Energy Corp. has acquired the most state-of-the-art wind farm design software available, as well as established relationships with many engineering and technical service companies to provide a complete wind development package for its projects. Chermac Energy Corp. has worked in development of precise financial models to provide a complete in-depth economic analysis of each project. Other relationships established by Chermac Energy Corp. during the preconstruction phase to bring the projects to operation include GE, ABB, CEG, Vestas, Suzlon, Pioneer Telephone, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, C.H. Guernsey, Oklahoma Wind Power Initiative, Western Electric Coordinating Council, and Southwest Power Pool.

Chermac Energy Corp. and its team of professional consultants is in the process of developing up to 2,000 MW of  additional wind nameplate capacity in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas in the next five years. Also, Chermac Energy Corp. is actively  evaluating and pursuing up to 1,500 MW of wind nameplate capacity in the Western and Eastern United States with expected development completion of all by 2013. Chermac Energy Corp. maintains $20,000,000 in liability insurance for wind operations.

Petroleum

OilChermac Energy Corporation has acquired,  developed, and reviewed oil & gas properties in Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle for over 26 years. Our experience includes complete drilling and completion engineering services for those areas. In 2006, Chermac Energy Corp. was  responsible for $15 million in drilling/recompletion proposals and/or workovers  for our clients. We have designed constructed and maintained pipelines for high gas pressure, low gas pressure, as well as salt water. Chermac Energy Corp. has been responsible for the  day-to-day engineering operations for over 500 wells for our clients that had daily production of over 55 MMCFGD and 2,000 BOPD. Our engineering and field  supervision consultants each have a minimum of 20 years of experience and offer  the most diverse knowledge of drilling, workover, and production operations for Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. Chermac Energy Corp. has been responsible  for waterflood design and implementation for secondary recovery projects  (largest 130 wells +/- with 650 BOPD and 16,000 BWPD production). Our experience also includes auditing of existing gas purchaser statements and gas measurements for verification of quality of gas sales. Chermac Energy Corp. has  provided expert engineering witness testimony at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and other legal bodies relating to Oklahoma properties.
